A RUUD Reliable Top Contractor is a credit-worthy licensed HVAC Contractor who operates a business in a professional, ethical, and customer-friendly manner. RUUD Reliable Top Contractors are rewarded and measured on their total annual RUUD motor-bearing equipment purchases. RUUD Reliable Top Contractors also agree to adhere to the RUUD Heating and Cooling Division Internet Policy and RUUD Air Conditioning Division Identity Use Guidelines for Advertising and Promotional Materials.

The primary purpose of the RUUD Reliable Top Contractor Program is to attract, retain, reward, and recognize key local HVAC Contractors in markets all across North America. Contractors are the key component of the HVAC transaction process. By providing a large menu of easy-to-use Contractor-focused marketing options, Top Contractors can devote more time and energy in growing their business, and increasing their profitability

Top Contractors, in conjunction with their Local RUUD Distributor, will establish an annual total RUUD motor-bearing equipment purchase goal. This target is both measurable and rewarded. Top Contractors will be required to acknowledge the definition and expectations through a membership agreement. A signed membership agreement must be submitted to RUUD Heating and Cooling before a Contractor will be activated in the RUUD Reliable Top Contractor Program. 2008 RUUD Reliable Top Contractors are also required to utilize some of their earned Top Contractor funding to take advantage of the full training curriculum available through The Training Network. RUUD Reliable Top Contractors should be the most highly trained HVAC companies.
